Sunday Guest Star
Wow! Someone actually guessed correctly! I am so proud of Kellie the Orange Cat for being my first correct guesser! YEAH!
And Yao-lin knew we were in London!
I have to say that the honorary “I liked this creative answer best” goes to Dragonheart and Merlin!
Wow, Chey, it looks like they’ve created a new astrological symbol just for you!
How exciting! Of course, Siamese are so elegant and special, they should have had their own astrological sign long before now!
Indeed they SHOULD create a new astrological symbol just for me! What a grand idea. I am off to talk to Bast.
For my loyal readers, we will be changing hosts and also our address sometime next week. We expect that we might be down for a couple of days, starting midweek. When we return, rather than being here at mysiamese.com/wordpress, we will be at chey.mysiamese.com. We will try and have a page that reminds you when we come back. Also when everything is working properly, we will let the catblogosphere know. For those of you who use feedreaders, those will need to be updated as well (I think)
I am sorry for the inconvenience but we had one too many things go wrong with our host! We hope that it will be a matter of hours, but it could be as long as three days.
Find Chey Friday
Well it’s Friday again. Where am I? This week has had a lot of parties at the beginning so maybe I have forgotten how to say no to the nip, but I doubt it. I think I am in heaven and I am finally getting the respect I deserve. Still, I hope I’m not dead!
I really did try and make this one a little easier than the others. We’ll see if anyone recognizes this. I certainly have a very good view of what’s going on! I suppose you could say I have the best seat in the house!
Take a guess and the most correct and the most interesting guesses will be our Featured Sunday Guest Star. The full rules are here.

Thankful Thursday
We are thankful that our friend who had surgery last week is home and doing very well. This is very good news because so many things have had complications for her.
We are also thankful that Zoolatry gave us this wonderful graphic of Georgia. We meant to post it last week but then we got started with something else… sigh.
We are thankful that it seems to be a better week for most kitties around the blogosphere and that we aren’t having to purr so hard for so many people. Our motors were needing a rest.
Georgia isn’t doing very well right now. She is still mostly happy but she’s very restless again and is starting to hide more which probably means she is more uncomfortable. But we are always thankful that she seems as happy as she is and still loves her cat food.
Meezer Rule Wednesday
Meezer Rule Wednesday: While the other candidates duke it out, take a nap.
From the Cat Post Intelligencer:
Candidate Cheysuli is still struggling for support in most states. While she has a broad appeal, she can’t seem to manage to overcome the disadvantage of being a third party candidate.
While Obama took North Carolina and Clinton appears to have taken Indiana by a small margin, Cheysuli has won none of the states. While she wins her party’s nomination, she is their only candidate. However, Critters for Total World Domination voters are trending in the teens, which is not enough for them to put her over the top in the fall.
“We are certain that as the election goes on we can generate some more funding. Pet food companies are scrambling to assist us in any way they can. Big Catnip keeps the money trickling in,” stated one campaign insider.
“Really,” said one critic, “I think she takes too many naps to be a good leader.”
“Yes but at least she’ll be ready for that 3 AM phone call,” stated a Cheysuli surrogate.
Tabby Tuesday
It was a little bit sunny this weekend so I was in the sun in the window. I can see that Momma wanted to take a photo so I looked at her and she did.
I have very big eyes.
Momma has been very nice to be brushing me a lot lately. I am shedding ever so much. I also like that she hasn’t been working a lot because then she is home with me more often. I like that, although she says that it means I won’t get as much food. I do not eat much.
Someone commented on my blog that I looked like a nice fat cat, but really there isn’t much of me underneath my furs!
Anniversary Meezer Monday
Well today is the one year anniversary since Latte and I got married. Wasn’t it a wonderful ceremony with all you cats there?
It was a grand wedding at Disneyworld with every in attendance. We ate. We danced. We ate. We napped. We ate. We sang. We ate. We talked. We ate. Finally it was time for Latte and I to head out to the private island that he arranged for us to honeymoon on. It was beautiful. Sand as far as you can see.
You can’t believe the amount of cat litter!
It was too bad we didn’t know Captain Jack and Dante and Fagin. They could have ferried us over on their pirate ship! Wouldn’t that have been a grand way to travel?! Ah well. Perhaps another time and some other friends. Karl and Ruis, I can’t wait to the ceremony you two will plan!
Sunday Guest Star
So you wanted to know where I was? Well here it is. I was in London looking down from the top of the Wellington Arch.
Derby was the most correct cat when he said
I see you on the right, don’t get trampled by the horsies. I know your beans were in London, it it some statue in London, with you making it pretty.
He was also the most logical (and flattering!)
We quite liked Daisy’s response as well
It’s the start of the Kentucky Derby! Run, Chey, run!
And so I am busy running and running. We were very sad about the horse who fell and had to be put down at the derby. We hope Derby’s Derby Day was better for him!
Sam, Sabrina and Simon also thought we were at the derby, but they did not say it quite as colorfully as Daisy!
We were surprised at the number of people who all thought Dragonheart and Merlin were right. We have never been there, but I might have to wander over! And because so many people liked his answer, we thought we had to acknowledge that it was a very good guess!
So congratulations to Derby (and what a week for him to be a winner!) and Daisy and Sam, Sabrina, Simon and Dragonheart and Merlin!
Find Chey Friday
Well it’s Friday again and I am off wandering the world to find this place so I can look down on some humans. It’s been a hard week.
Where do you think I am? If you need help with rules, they are in my first Find Chey post! So keep the guesses coming. You can guess several times if you like. I just decided that. The winners will get mentioned in the Sunday Guest Star.

Thankful Thursday
This week I am thankful that it is Gretchen’s birthday! We are all resting up for this wild and crazy party coming up!
We are quite glad to have a party after all our sick kitty friends. I am glad that Storm is doing as well as can be expected.
We have another friend who is a human who is going in for surgery today. It’s “only” gallbladder surgery but she has been sick for five years now and the doctors have never been able to say with what. Even when they do, she seems to create new symptoms that don’t fit–from a Medical Doctor perspective, a naturopathic perspective, an acupuncture perspective, and an energy healing perspective. So we are worried for her and hope that she feels better. I am sure she would appreciate all your purrs even though she has always had dogs.
She was the acupuncture intern the Woman followed around when she was a second year student and had to observe in the acupuncture clinic before starting her own internship. They practiced in the same city for a few years and the Woman continued to learn things from her. Periodically they still get together and share all kinds of things. We really wish her well.
I am glad my leg is okay. Georgia went to swat me as I left from snuggling with her and she can’t retract her claws any more and it got stuck in my heal area. The Woman had to come and rescue me, which I felt was very undignified but I was making little squeaky hissy noises that troubled her until she realized what was going on. I think Georgia felt very badly about the issue too.
So we are going to purr for her for awhile and then we will be up and about to get to that PARTY!!!
Oh and here’s our really bad knock knock joke for Camie’s Kitties:
Knock Knock
Who’s there?
Cheysuli
Cheysuli Who?
I really need a better publicity manager….
Meezer Rule Wednesday
After all my press troubles, I have had to come up with some new ideas. So my Meezer Rule for today is: When the going gets tough, pick a tougher Campaign Manager.
From the Cat Post Intelligencer:
Breaking news today is that Former Cuban leader Fidel Castro stepped down not because of his health but because he hopes to become Cheysuli’s campaign manager.
“We are in discussion with Mr. Castro about the possibilities,” stated Cheysuli. “I think that anyone with his credentials wanting to work with me is wonderful.”
Critics argue that Castro is not the sort of person that Cheysuli should be working with. “The fact that he cannot enter the country legally is certainly a deterant.” However, there is some vocal criticism that Cheysuli is going to take the country heavily into fascism.
“Oh please!” stated Cheysuli. “Castro is a communist, not a fascist. I wish these people would get their philosophies straight. Communism is socialism on steroids. Fascism is where big companies or a group of few rule everyone else. Cuba is COMMUNIST not fascist. This makes me worry that some in our government may not know the difference between Sunni and Shia.”

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh - I actually know where this is!
It is the ceiling over the stage of the Shakespeare’s Globe in London, South East London to be exact!
You look great up there Chey.
