Tabby Tuesday
Here I am with the great gifts from Eric and Flynn! Thank you so much. I liked the spider toy right away. It was very fun.
We all like the pad. We haven’t used it too much right now but I got up here several times last night to explore. Momma had spread some nip so I would get used to it, so I attacked it a lot. However, Cheysuli was right for once and that wasn’t really a bright enough spot for photos and so we didn’t get too many good photos of THAT.
However, I am very thankful that we have this.
I am looking forward to spending lots of time snuggling in front of the fire while Momma works on the computer (sometimes she really is working).
Meezer Monday
Well there I was ready for my photoshoot with the great gifts from Eric and Flynn. Sigh. And then she put me some place I didn’t want to be. Something about light.
I left.
Then she got back on facebook.
Like that’s anything to brag about.
What is up with that? Mostly it’s just people there. Like people are interesting.
And so Gemini will be showing off our toys. Because she sat there and looked cute. Of course, there still wasn’t enough light and so she started using the flash–hence Gemini isn’t even playing or exploring her favorite spider any more.
I blame facebook for this. Do not let your humans try that thing!
Sunday Guest Star
Well, it was no surprise to me that Miss Peach knew exactly where I was as her human is planning on visiting Leavenworth for Octoberfest!
HA! You are in Leavenworth across the street fron Sandy’s Waffel house! Did you go to Uncle Ulli’s Pub and have a bratwurst? My mouth is watering…it is Octoberfest right now!
I wasn’t there for Octoberfest because my humans didn’t manage to plan their little trip there during the festival! They just went on the off weekend.
They did not go to Uncle Ulli’s pub but the woman did have a very nice brat across the way. She was disappointed in the one cafe’s potato salad–it wasn’t even hot! How can that be?!
Chance, of course has the comment that had everyone talking or perhaps thinking the same thing!:
So it was a good Find Chey. Leavenworth thanks all of you who thought I went to Bavaria! Of course now I get to try and pull her away from Facebook…. sigh.

Well here I am lost again! Can someone help me home? I really didn’t mean to go so far. But it is kind of a cool castle like place. I need a castle.
Oh and we have made this photo so that it gets bigger if you click on it, although we don’t think that will help!

Thankful Thursday
I am very thankful that Momma has her car back. This means she is less stressed. And she can then enjoy my floofy furs.
We are also thankful for all the people who visit our blog. We love the comments. Junior made us laugh yesterday when he said:
Maybe we should all go sit in laps in congress…..maybe that way they can get their poop in a group and make a decision.
And then we laughed because someone found Chey by searching Cuban Communist Chey?! We haven’t looked at how people are finding us recently.
We did find Kimo and Sabi’s mom on Facebook. We also found Pet on LinkedIn. We are in both places if you need to find us. Momma isn’t sure what she thinks about this stuff. But she did go through her email list to make more connections.
We are thankful that today we got our prize from Eric and Flynn. We are ever so thankful to all those toys. Even if Dad said that we had too many toys and needed to get rid of some now! WHAT! But we also got a very nice mat to snooze on!

Candidate Cheysuli has rushed to Washington to help iron the details of any future financial bailout. The candidate waited until this week to rush off because she was napping through the original financial melt down.
“Actually,” stated Cheysuli, “I was required to be with my family as the Woman was having a financial meltdown thinking that WAMU actually collapsed. She is still thinking that this is a bad thing as she is certain that JP Morgan Chase will require higher fees from her small business account.”
Currently Cheysuli is napping on Maria Cantwell’s lap. Cantwell represents the candidate’s home state of Washington and sits on the Senate Finance Committee. When Cantwell gets up, Cheysuli goes and snoozes on Ron Wyden’s lap.
“She’s been such a great help. You know how chilly it can get in the Senate Chambers as we sit there discussing the issues. Having her on my lap is like having a blanket wrapped around my legs, but so much more environmentally friendly,” stated Cantwell.
“I’m certain that any progress that is made from this point forward,” said one unconfirmed source, “Will all be due to Cheysuli’s involvement. She’s such a uniter. Republicans and Democrats alike just want to rub her ears!”

Gemini looking out the window
I am looking out my window to see what is happening.
I heard the last time the market crashed, people jumped out of windows. No one is jumping out their window here. I do not know why they did not use the door.
Momma says that we don’t live on Wall Street and that those windows were way high in the sky. I should like a window high in the sky! I bet that would be fun to look out rather than having them all be a ground level…
It is sunny here and I am going to enjoy it for as long as I can! It will start raining again soon, I know.
And now I am going to stay in my sun and purr for Auntie Deb!

While Critters for Total World Domination Candidate Cheysuli didn’t have a convention per se her supporters are having a wild party aboard the Starship Enterprise. Having once been assimilated by the Borg while visiting Sammy the Whappinator’s family, Cheysuli and Captain Picard have a special friendship.
Seeing the other two conventions and worrying for his friend’s ability to maintain her rock star profile in the midst of an increasingly ugly and competitive campaign, Picard offered her the perfect venue for her supporters to enjoy themselves and get excited about the campaign.
“This is like the biggest cat nap ever,” stated one human supporter.
“In our time, specism is much less of a problem,” stated one unidentified crew member. “We are fully behind Cheysuli and hope she wins the election.”
When asked how they didn’t know the outcome of the election seeing they were from the future, crew members refused to answer any more questions.
Cheysuli was too busy napping to be available for comment. Miles Meezer, however, belched.

Fat Eric guessed where I was correctly but only after Ping managed to guess that I was visiting Eric and Flynn. Not only did I win the prize (alas I hear it is NOT a tractor!) for their 500th post, but they happened to invite me and I went to visit them.
At any rate, Black Cat said they lived near Plymouth but it didn’t look right.
Fat Eric Said:
I think it is Plymouth because it has a red and white tower that looks like Smeaton’s Tower. But it doesn’t look quite right for Plymouth, so I am not sure.
I’d love to hear back from Eric and Flynn why things didn’t look right for two of our readers who visit there. Where you standing someplace unusual? Or perhaps it doesn’t really rain that much in England?!
