So, back at BlogPaws Mom won this great corner shelf from Hauspanther. It sat around waiting while she coughed her way through the next week and a half trying to decide where to put it. Really the only corner available, other than the one that might let me leap onto the flat screen TV was the on in the bedroom, here.
After Mom and Dad got back from their vacation visit to see Miles, Sammy, Billy and Nicky, Dad put this up on the wall. As you can see, I’m examining it quite thoroughly. It looks high but they thought I’d like to be able to climb up higher.
And you know what? I liked it. It’s a great corner cat climber from Mountain Cat Trees and called the “Mountain Cat Corner Climber.” Cool huh? And I am a mountain cat!
And even better? Dad decided that we had that blank wall and it could use some catification. So he put up shelves. Mom has some carpet out in the garage that they used to cover the board they attached to the scratching post in here to make it more stable and she’s thinking about putting that up on the wall so I can scratch! Won’t that be cool.
Gemini gets up here sometimes. But I don’t like it and come running. Mom put Chey on the lowest shelf and Chey sat there and huddled and ignored her fishy flakes and then leaped off as soon as she got an opening. She does not like it up high. Clearly she and I have different tastes.
Oh and if you’re wondering what the silver spot on the wall is, well that’s a magnet that Dad uses to find a stud. They left it there because I attack it but I can’t get it off the wall, which is not fair!
