Sunday Guest Star: The Poupounette and Friends

Well I was enjoying the frogs, when the Poupounette came by and said, “We suspect you might have to book a plane ticket to get home, Chey. Are you at Boston Common’s Frog Pond?” And so I was.

Eric and Flynn demonstrated their knowledge of the place, “The Poupounette have beaten us to it. Boston is one of the places that our Humans have visited for one day only on a cruise and want to go back to. They are hoping to go there next year and stay for a few days.We agree that it is The Frog Pond in the middle of Boston Common Park. It is used as an ice skating rink in the winter.”

With all the cats hanging out, Pixel and Samba came over, “Chey so you are down the street from us and we are so late we do not win ;( You can come visit us before heading home. We are 20 min outside of Boston. Mom knows that place all too well. “The Boston Common Frog Pond sits at the heart of Boston Common, one of America’s oldest and most treasured public parks. With a winter ice rink and skating school; a reflecting pool in the spring and fall; and a summer spray pool and children’s carousel; there is always a fun and exciting activity for residents and tourists alike. And the year-round café is a welcome respite no matter what the temperature.” Mom has a kid gone there and played in the pond. She does not know how to use skate or would have done that too. Do not forget to go visit the swan boats and also the pub that cheers was based on is right there. Well the outside is anyway but it would be a great photo op for the presidential candidate like you.”

I must say I’m thinking of becoming a travel adviser rather than president. I get so many more hugs and loves when I travel than I do as president. It’s a thankless job…

I have to thank my friend Cory for suggesting these guys. They were great company.  Her human got to visit there and row in Boston.  She was up in Seattle too, but the Woman didn’t want to drive out there (about 40 minutes) to go see her at 8 AM. How lazy is that?  I mean humans talk about cats…

  1. We think you would make a wonderful travel adviser. We have a house guest with us for a couple of weeks, so we missed your Find Chey post this week.

  2. Congratulations to the Poupounette! I agree about it being a lot more fun to be a travel advisor than president.

  3. Pixel and Samba says:

Wow rowing on the Charles in Boston is kinda awesome if we do say so ourselves . You also picked a nice tome to be lost in Boston.. Our weather has been surprisingly mild.

  4. We were pretty thrilled to have been able to find you, Chey! It is so rare for us!

  5. Congrats to the Poupounette for finding you first, Chey!

  6. You really don’t want to become president, or anything like that. It’ll just make your furs turn gray or white. Travel advisor, a much better job.

Congrats to tTe Poupounette and Friends becoming the Sunday Guest Star.

  7. Froggies are awesome fun to hang out with!!!!

  8. I think I need to invest in an atlas!

  9. Congrats to the Poupounette. We think you would make a very good travel advisor…….as long as you know where you are when you are advising.

  10. Hi there Cheysuli,
(I would’ve put this comment on you Dona Nobis Pacem post for 4th Nov, but there wasn’t anywhere to do so![

Just wanted to say, good to see you once again. Your peaceglobe is excellent…I love the quote! I feel that the overthrowing of governments by people is already happening. Folk are trying to do it peacefully, but the governments (of course) resist with violence. Hopefully Peace will win!

[A link to your peace post will be on my blog ‘Peace Bloggers Unite’ soon]

  11. We didn’t know, as usual, where you were, but we liked the frogs!!
