Gemini Flips Over Ping

img_6056aOh you all know I think Ping is the most handsomest of cats. And look! I am flipping.

Actually this is my trick. My Dad, when he was just an Almost Dad taught me to flip when I was a tiny kitten. He taught me to stretch out when he held me on my back and then he would raise me almost upside down and then I would leap over and land on my feet.

Sometimes he flips me from very high, but Momma doesn’t like it because she is afraid it will hurt my toes.

I like it best when he has me bounce on the bed. I am the only cat that flips. Cheysuli won’t let him hold her (in fact she does not like to let him touch her) and Momma said Georgia was too old and didn’t need to learn to flip and now, well, she is confused about which way is up when she is just lying there now…

  1. Wow flipping looks cool. We wish we could flip!

  2. I think that would be a neat trick for the butler to teach Luna! He might lose his hands in the process but I think he should at least try!
We are still in Limburg, tending to Taylor, Dicky did a guest post at our blog, and around Valentines we hope to start blogging again…..

  10. Wow, Gemini! We do not think we would enjoy being flipped. And we are pretty sure Mom would not like being scratched. But as long as you don’t mind…

  11. Yay Gemini! We flip too!

  12. We can’t flip – ‘cos Dad didn’t teach us. But we can both fetch really well. I (Milo) like to fetch my catnip mousie when Mom throws it, and Alfie likes to fetch his favourite toy in the whole World which as a tatty loop of rope (that he adores). Alfie is always carrying his bit of rope about – and sometimes when he loses it the whole house has to be tuned upside down so we can find it for him. Mom said it’s like a comfort blanket to him.

We think you are very talented being able to flip like that. Could you make a video to show us please?

  13. Dads know how to do fun tricks! My Daddie helps me do a cannonball onto the bed. Wheeeeeeeee!
