Spooky Find Chey Friday

Well Happy Halloween. So although I am some place hard to find me, I had to go here as it’s the scariest place I could think of!

Where do you think I am? Is there anything I should be worried about? Do you think Daisy will find me this week?

Check out the full Find Chey Rules.

Bad Kitty Cats Festival of Chaos

Carnival of the Cats will be here! Our Sunday Guest Star (or stars) will head up this weeks Carnival. Make your guess count!

We apologize if we don’t get around to as many cats as usual. The Woman is coming down with what the man had and will probably be sleeping a lot tomorrow.

Thankful Thursday

I am very thankful that even my toys find comfy places to snooze. However, this is my bed, from Latte and I think I will be moving that mouse out so I can snooze in there. It is still a bit sunny.

I have not had to wear a costume for Halloween for which I am very thankful.

Additionally my human is getting back into her cat and web site stuff so she is not spending so much time on Facebook (although she is still spending way too much time there).

Finally, I am thankful that the Male seems to be getting over his illness. Playing nurse cat to him was very tiring, particularly since I would rather he weren’t here at all and he was here ALL DAY when he is usually gone. How stressful is that just days before the election?!

Meezer Rule Wednesday

Meezer Rule for Today: Never Give up no matter how far behind you are.

From the Cat Post Intelligencer:

Although Cheysuli is behind in the race, her campaign is certain she can pull it out.

“Polls everywhere show that she has a full 23 of all eligible voters. This is up from only 8 a few months ago,” said one supporter.

“We’re certain that write in votes will be very effective,” said another potential voter.

There is no question that Cheysuli has an uphill battle to win this election. With the Supreme Court not hearing her case to get the feline (and other critter) vote, she is at a strong disadvantge. If she manages to get enough votes, it is questionable whether she can even be confirmed.

“My candidacy is about fighting. It’s about showing what you can do if you just put your mind to it. Even if we don’t win, we have taken cats and other critters farther than they have ever gone before,” said the Candidate at a rally in Salem.

Gemini contemplates new ways to be naughty

Gemini contemplates new ways to be naughty

I was a naughty cat this past weekend. I walked all over Momma on Sunday morning earlier than she wanted to get up. I mean it was already 6 AM!

She thought at first it was Georgia but then I plopped my floofy buns in her face and began to purr. She realized that Georgia can’t walk that far up the bed (she falls off if she tries and so she doesn’t go) and Momma realized it was me.

I just needed some attention. I don’t know why she was upset. 6 AM is very late don’t you think?

Meezer Monday

From the Cat Post Intelligencer:

Candidate Cheysuli has taken a few days to go visit a sick feline friend. Sources outside the campaign wonder if she’s really doing this or if this is a cover for her to change her birth certificate.

While Cheysuli has claimed to be only a regular house pet, despite being a purebred Siamese, sources have long been critical of her background her ability to understand the needs of the ordinary cat. Rumors abound that Cheysuli is actually covering up her show records, that are rumored to exist but have never been found.

“I really think it’s just a story about her not being shown. She’s obviously a perfect cat and would have been shown by any smart breeder who didn’t eat her for dinner. You betcha I would have!” said one unnamed supporter of another candidate.

“Cheysuli was never shown. She broke her tail as a kitten and was ineligible under CFA rules. Even if she had been shown, she certainly wouldn’t have placed,” said a campaign member. “Additionally, she is currently  a housecat, having been ‘petted out’ by her breeder.  Cheysuli has close ties to many friends and is currently visiting a sick friend. Now lets get back to the issues.”

Sunday Guest Star: Miss Peach

Well this week was a difficult one. We told the male that but he insisted this was an excellent place for me to go visit. I suspect he just does not want me back. However, Miss Peach rose to the occasion as we expected she would and knew exactly where I was!

OK I KNOW…well maybe I know….in Cashmere at the Pioneer Museum? Huhhh am I right? Fort Clatsop is another good guess but that was built more like a big row if log cabins real close together….
Love Miss Peachy

Yeah Miss Peach! The Pioneer Museum has a whole large are with a real pioneer village. They moved actual cabins and stores and such from various areas around the area and brought them to this place and they are restored as close to their original state as possible so that people can look in and see how the average pioneer might have lived. It was quite fascinating.

Alas, Peachy, we missed the Aplet and Cotlet Museum because the male doesn’t like them and the Woman is not sufficiently adoring of them to insist.

Adan came very close suggesting that we were in a nice village. We were. Victor Tabbycat was correct in guessing that I was in a historical village. A number of you suggested East Coast areas but I stayed closer to home this time.

Chance had a very good in the holiday spirit guess:

That looks like the Camp Crystal Lake from the Friday the 13th movies. Hope Jason doesn’t get you. Sort of a fitting place for Halloween though. Wait…what was that?? RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!

Fortunately I was not there.

Kelly Cat went in a different direction:

Hmm… “Please No Dogs.” Could it be Heaven? (Sounds like Heaven to me… ;-) )

No I am not in heaven (I don’t think.)

Sophia suggested:

Camp David negotiating peace between chinchillas and elephants?

Did you know that they won’t allow me in Camp David yet?! Sigh.

Next week’s Guest Star will be the lead off for another great Carnival of the Cats! Maybe it will be you this time Daisy!

Find Chey Friday

Well now where am I think week? I think I am speaking to constituents in some small towns, but which small town am I in?

And when perhaps?!

Carnival of the Cats

Bad Kitty Cats Festival of Chaos

Thankful Thursday

I find myself thankful that that annoying mini pumpkin was an equal opportunity annoyance. Sigh.

So was the spider (at least we could have played with it in photos… sigh. That’s what it was for!)

And, as the most well dressed cat around, i am thankful my fur is my own and at least there won’t be a scandal on the cost of my clothing… sigh.

I’m also thankful that there’s only a few more weeks to try and make fun of the campaigns because really, some of them are doing such a great job themselves who needs me?

Finally, I’m thankful that we are interviewed on Pet Doc!

Meezer Rule Wednesday

The Meezer Rule for Today: Deny Everything.

From the Cat Post Intelligencer:

Candidate Cheysuli’s October Surprise should have been no surprise at all. World Famous Playpet Magazine brought back their Chey-Mate issue for the election.

Photos show the candidate frolicking around on a soft carpet, exposing her soft underbelly, her pink tongue sticking out temptingly.

“You have to wonder what she was thinking when she did that shot,” said one former supporter. “I just can’t take her seriously after this.”

The Cheysuli campaign has issued a statement: “Cheysuli did not pose for Playpet at any time in her past. Those photos were shot without her permission as she frolicked in the privacy of her own home. We were appalled at the time and are further appalled that such a thing would come out now. “

Gemini Tocks

Gemini Tocks

Well I didn’t get to do Tocktober yesterday, so I will wish Derby a happy Birthday and Tocktober today! Here are my tocks. I have floofy tocks. I bet you can’t even find my tocks they are so floofy. Do you suppose I could do a find tocks Tuesday that would be as fun as Chey’s Find Chey Friday?!

Maybe it would be even MORE fun! Because I am a more fun cat than Cheysuli.

I would say more, but Momma says maybe people are all Tocked out so I should be quiet.  I stuck my tiny little pink tongue out at her for the pun.
