Meezer Monday

From the Cat Post Intelligencer:

Southpaw Candidate Cheysuli was honored to toss out the first pitch in the Mariners game against the Indians on Saturday. Sadly, Cheysuli had some of the best pitching seen in the game by her hometown Mariners and the visiting Cleveland Indians won 9 to 6.

An unnamed source said the Mariners were scouting her in case she looses the election. She has some rare talent that they would like to tap.

In other news, the Candidate is experimenting with a new litter box. On Friday, Tidy Cat delivered the Breeze Litter Box system to her home. While most people get a lovely pale green color, Cheysuli had hers done in red white and blue, with her Winds of Cheynge logo on the side.

Unfortunately, Cheynge is not happening at their house and the litter box sits unused, although everyone has sniffed at it. Next up will be trading places with the Tidy Cat and the current litter box.

Sunday Guest Star

Well I was amazed at the number of cats who knew exactly where I went wrong on my way to Dragonheart’s!

Trixie got it first. Mickey got it right and so did Dazey, Jesse and Connor. Fat Eric was extremely certain where I was.

You’re in Berlin at the bit of Wall which has been preserved! My mum and dad went there last November!

Samantha and Tigger were guessing correctly. Queen Snickers said it looked like the wall when she saw it on television. Eric and Flynn guessed correctly. Jasper guessed I went back in time, but I didn’t. The Wall is still there, at least in this piece. Derby pointed out that my teleporting is off (um you’ve noticed?). Aloysius said I needed a GPS. Black Cat and Mr. Echo were also correct in their guess (though by that time they had much confirmation about where I was!

Dragonheart and Merlin gave us some great information about the Wall. We would also like to thank them for sending us this photo that was so appro for Dragonheart’s birthday Find Chey Friday!

Fat Eric has the first “perfectly correct” answer – it’s a piece of the original Berlin Wall that’s been preserved in situ (in place). There are also portions of it in chunks throughout the city of Berlin (torn down and then moved) but someone realized at some point that it would be important to preserve a bit, in place, for history’s sake. The outer fence is to try to stop “souvenir hunters” who are looking to get a piece of the original Berlin wall.

Gandalf and Grayson even told me how to get to Dragonheart’s from here!

Icon Baxter Bentley was not able to help me, but I think he had the best clue for me to help myself.

umm, I do not think it is Phila, but I bet Grusse and Kathy know where YOU are..

So if no one had guessed, I could have looked up Grusse and Kathy and asked them where I was!

Oh dear! I’ve done it again! I got so excited thinking I wanted to visit Dragonheart on his birthday that I have gotten myself lost! Can anyone tell me where I am so I can fine tune my birthday visit?

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful that the Male’s child is here. I like him. I like him almost as much as the Woman. I only like her better because she is around to serve more often.

Really, I think I prefer him.

I am thankful for all the great friends I have who have tagged me for the refrigerator meme (but my human refuses to show off her ugly fridge). I would also like to thank everyone who has given me the Art Y Pico Award but the Woman hasn’t gotten around to acknowledging.  AHEM.

Like this looks good for my campaign.

Meezer Rule Wednesday

I have two rules today.

1. Take more updated photos of my woman! Can’t you see that I still have my fangs here? These are over a week old!!!

2. Be nice to other species. A few dogs come by my blog and they did not feel welcome from the comments on Monday’s post. I realize that when you are linked to John McCain, it makes life difficult but we need to stop specism in it’s tracks. Humans are the ones who promote specism and the idea that dogs are better than cats. As cats, we know that we let all inferior species live as they like, even that lowest of the low species, humanity.

As for our canine friends, we need to remember to be nice. After all there are lot of higher order species who can help us with our Total World Domination and dogs are amongst those species, as are buns, rats, horses and goats.

Tabby Tuesday

I like to lie in the sun. I want to tell a secret I have been keeping though.

I see dead bugs.

Sometimes when bugs die, they do not know they are dead. They just get sort of invisible. I like to chase invisible bugs. Then they think they are alive again.

No one cat see these bugs except me. They aren’t really scary though cause they are just more bugs and they are fun to chase.

Miffed Meezer Monday

From the Cat Post Intelligencer:

Candidate Cheysuli is miffed at recent reports that pet owners prefer John McCain. What was not readily divulged in the poll response was the fact that pet owners were defined as dog owners.

“While I am disheartened that dog owners are not flocking to my campaign, I am more upset that cat owners slaves were not represented,” stated the candidate.

“4 out of 5 cat owners prefer Cheysuli,” stated one pollster.

It is common knowledge that the fifth cat owner has their own cat running for office.

“Cats are bit divided with the numbers of running cats. I think felines in general are fed up with the way humans are running things and know they can do a better job. Cats, being more solitary creatures seem to have the uphill battle of banding together,” stated one pundit on an unread blog.

Sunday Guest Star

Well this week was fun. Nearly everyone liked the fish. And everyone knew I was at a fish market. Skeezix was the first cat to know I was at Pike’s Place Market. Zippy, Speedy and Sadie also knew where I was as did Kellie the Orange Cat. The Taylor Cats were also great guessers, but once again missed being the first. You guys must really know Seattle.

While Derby did not get the correct answer, he had an interesting take. You know how I need all the body guards I can get? Well Derby is always thinking ahead (and that’s why he’s going to be my right paw Cat.)

I see you went out to get some more enforcers. Isn’t that what the live mussels are?

And of course he is right. After all what else do we need? And of course there were plenty of shrimp to snack on! I love Pike Place. It’s the best place to snack I have ever seen. What I don’t understand is why I see so many dogs running through the market but not so many cats?

And yes, Fiona, there is Bun food. Just down the walk a few paces!

Find Chey Friday

You would think I was particularly lost this week given those great kitty drugs I got! However, I was waylaid by the thought of food! I guess you just can’t keep a hungry cat down. Can I get some of that great shrimp?!

Who wants to join me here? Well you just have to find me first!!!

Find Chey Friday Rules here! Be the first or most creative and be my Sunday Guest Star! Last week, Pepi was actually both!

Thankful Thursday

Well I am very thankful that this dental thing is over… I think… erg. I have to nap now. What? I’m still here. No cameras. They’ll claim I need rehab. Really it’s just the anesthetic. They took five teeth including, it appears my beautiful fangs. I haven’t looked in a mirror to be sure though. And I’m not letting anyone close to me.

I don’t think I had to wash dishes. I couldn’t say. It’s all such a blur. And now I need a real nap. This photo was pre-surgery so don’t think I look this good right now.

I believe the dental was on the low end of the quote, for which my human is thankful. Five teeth means that I am only down 10 teeth. I must have a couple left right?
